Hello I am inquiring about a possibility of accessing a cardboard or heavy paper trace of the firewall heater placement for my 1954 M3A1 and I have the firewall heater that I would love to install especially being in the northwest where it can get very wet and cold. Iam willing to work with anybody who wants to work with me for this project. Thank you for your time and service.

Previously posted here courtesy of Howard. I assume you mean M38A1, which ought to be similar.

By firewall heater, if you mean the one mounted in the interior under the dash as (on the earliest CJ5s) look at the HH locations. But M38A1 had the battery box there. Later CJ5s used location H.

    My memory is nagging me.
I think in the archives here you might find where I once posted dimensions for the Harrison Heater knockout locations - if that's the style you are considering.

my firewall has knock outs on both sides. I also have the vent hose mounting in the shroud area of the grill. Mine did not come with a heater in either location.
