I'm finally back on all 4 wheels and the E E Brake works terrific. I still need to get a good bleed to have the brakes work better but I drove it up and down the drive way and it holds an incline with absolutely no issues. 2 questions for those of you have done it.
    1) did you have any trouble bleeding the system. (I think I had mine partially closed when bleeding I am thinking that maybe my issue)
    2) What Master Cylinder did you use. I am using my stock 1969 dual reservoir MC but not sure if I should be upgrading.

    Thanks

I couldn't get the air bled out of my calipers until I removed them from the brackets. I pointed the bleeder straight up and put a piece of 2x4 in the caliper.
Excited to hear about the parking brake.

My rear disc brake kit came in today! :bananatool: Now I'm waiting on my new master cylinder. Can't wait to see how the parking brake works.

My jeep has the R&P dual MC that uses the wilwood master cylinder with remote reservoirs. I had a drum-drum one, so I ordered a disc-disc one.

I put the mounts on my Jeep and the outer brake pad hits the rotor. Looks like I need to grind the pad down by an 1/8” or so??? Anyone else have this issue?

Did you play around with the shims? Rotors sit flush on the flange? I didn't have an issue with it...

Its like the mount that the caliper bolts to is too short.

It's stamped on the top of my caliper bracket on the driver's side. This is the best I can do without removing the wheel.

Thanks. Looks like mine are 302... :banghead: I hope I can just buy the bracket somewhere. This whole disc brake swap has been a nightmare.

Try rock auto. I think I saw some there. The brakes work much better than an oil soaked d18 parking brake or a rock imo. (y)

Its not just the rears. The fronts were a real pain to finish up. Took forever to get bearings ordered in.

I'm picturing a day in the future, when people like us will be installing custom made "mechanical" parking brake kits to replace the electric type.

Such as, currently, the manual control conversion for the Wrangler vacuum front axle disconnect.

That’s why you don’t throw out the stock parking brake. Keep it on the shelf for a rainy day.

Has anyone found a source for organic pads for the fusion? All i have found are Ceramic and semi metalics

Also, are there any specialty tools or odd size wrenches that i will need to pull the calipers from a pick n pull?
