I have a repro tub on a throttledownkustoms frame. Supposed to be a '55 CJ5. Need some measurements. Pictures would be a definite plus.
    • Top bow sockets in the wheel well - size of pipe and length from back and front of wheel well should work.
    • Outer bow socket location
    • Firewall to front edge of grill
    • Transmission crossmember placement from rear of vehicle or body mount brackets - Can't measure front because the frame was extended a bit to allow for better clearance for saginaw steering
    • Pedal Shaft bracket from rear of vehicle or body mount brackets
    • Master cylinder

What are you trying to mount in the jeep? That may help drive which diagrams you need to look at. Do you have access to a FSM?

Dgroshek please post pictures and do a write up. It would be great to hear what you think about the frame. I am thinking about one for my 67 CJ5.

Tom, I plan to start my write-up soon; been planning on a build thread for this.

Warloch, Most of the measurements needed are to make sure I'm placing the body and grill on the frame in the correct positions. My TDK frame came fully boxed in with no mounting holes for my transmission crossmember, pedal shaft bracket or master cylinder so I'm going to have to mount these myself but want to get close to the correct measurement. My repro tub did not come with bow sockets and I'd like to integrate these into the body for an authentic look.
