Manual choke kit

    I would like to convert my Rochester 2G to a manual choke. Anybody know if there is a conversion kit I can buy to do this?

    Motormite/Dorman sells a kit that's available under the "Help" brand. Not sure that it works with a 2G, but it's commonly available at your FLAPS.

    I used a manual choke kit from Pep Boys, probably the same one Tim is referring to.
    I'm much happier with a manual choke, except that mine does have a habit of slowly working it's way toward closed as I drive. :rofl:
    I've just made a habit of checking the knob every time I come to a stop, or about every 20 minutes of driving time.
    IIRC, it was an easy set up, I installed it 10 yrs ago.
