    Yesterday:
Got the engine mounts moved back 1.5" for steering clearance and tacked in place. Set engine/trans/tcase back in frame and mounted the tub on the frame to check for adequate clearance. I was astonished to find that everything fit like it should on my first try!

Today and tomorrow I am going to:
Weld patch in place of original fuel tank well
    Remove tub, engine, trans, etc.
    Final weld engine mounts
Remove springs from frame for sandblasting and primer

No pics were taken as the Jeep doesn't look a bit different. I'll be sure to get some as sandblasting and priming take place. Right now I am about as excited about this project as I've ever been. All of the engine clearance issues seemed incredibly formidable just a short time ago. It's good to be back on track!

Thanks for all the info/advice/parts/smarta$$ comments along the way!

Definitely maybe! My wife is pregnant and about to go any time. I'll be pretty locked down for a while but maybe this fall?

I doubt it, he'll get tired of this one and start another one in about another 6 months, like he says back to square 1. :D

Good to hear its coming along good. Now try and get it ready to come to Tellico in Oct. That will be a great place to do a shakedown run.
