    I ordered a M101 CDN from Michele, <mknautz@total.net>,
militarytires.com to pull behind my CJ5. It is being delivered to Livermore, CA sometime soon
so she has a truck running to the area. You might be able to get on the
same shipment if you want one and contact her. The price was $949
delivered, the cheapest I found in my area.

It requires a forklift to unload off the trailer. I am going to rent
one. If anyone else in the area orders one, we could share the forklift.

Acme Truck Parts in Stockton doesn't have any left and aren't planning
to get any. In Socal, http://www.owens-export.com has 2 left. Surplus
City also has some in Oroville. Those are the closest ones I found.

I live here in NC and just ran across this company online. Please let me know when you get your trailer and the condition for I about to order one. How did you pay since there is no way to do it through their website?

Michele sent me an invoice to my paypal account and I paid by echeck. Hopefully, I'll receive the trailer in the next week or 2.

I haven't received it yet. My guess is that she is trying to sell some more to fill the truck before the shipment leaves. Of course, before I paid, the truck was leaving at the end of the week!:)

Like most sales people, communication with them is excellent before you pay and terrible after you pay!

Keep on her or him (husband and wife with same or similar first name). Will eventually deliver albeit slow. Be prepared for a possible registration hassle if you plan to register it in CA. Good luck!

Well, I checked this out and on 2/4/07 I received this message from Michele:
"Hi, The trailers are all 1992 good condition pics attached, we ship by 2 so as soon as someone pays for one we sell the other in that area. We can ship to you in MN for delivered $899. USD otherwise you can save by picking up in Montreal but is a far drive from MN and saving only $200."
    Michele

I have to say there is a slight interest here in MN. but I don't know if this is a resonable price and the fact that it could be quite a wait for the delivery. I would be interested to know if there are other members who are considering the purchase of a trailer within the next few months. Perhaps there would be an opportunity to get that second trailer on order so the delivery can be completed. Anyway I just thought I'd pass this along.

    Beeser,

Did you register a M101 CDN in Calif? If so, what paperwork did you have to have for the DMV?

I've read that some people have registered them as homemade trailers.

    Thanks, Gregg.

Yes. I had the bill of sale and something from the Canadian military stating that it was surplus equipment and wasn't previously registered. It was a hassle because of having to go back to the DMV twice.
