Looking For Part # And Brand For Radiator Hose.

I am installing the Champion "CC7071" radiator on my 69/70 V6 and am having issues with the lower hose fitting up.
I bought the "continental 60685" from Rock Auto and it fits perfect except for the oil filter being in the way.
Has anyone ran into this and what brand/part# did you end up using?

That is the hose i am using on my Champion radiator. I am using a Delco PF24 oil filter
and i have a 1/4 to 3/8 clearance on mine. I had to cut the hose some, and years ago i
put a new bushing under my grill, maybe that's why mine clears. I also tried a Gates 20355
but the 60685 fit better.

 

Tried it with both the larger and smaller oil filters, still the same issue.
I'm just going to go with a longer flex hose and loop it around the filter.
I'm not overly impressed with the radiator, it is shiny though.

 

I bought a Champion radiator and had the same problem. I sent it back and they angled the lower outlet up at a 45 degree angle, now it clears the oil filter just fine. My other problem was with the three core being thicker than the original two core. I had to put in a lower profile flex fan because the original was hitting the bottom of the radiator. It did cost $100 to angle the outlet, but that still beats $500 to recore what was probably not the original radiator anyway.
