I got off my duff today and tried to tackle some of the leaks. I replaced the rear rope main cap seals with a rubber ones, replaced the oil pan gasket and replaced the balancer seal. That rear main cap is a PITA to get off! I moved on the trans and transfercase. They have been leaking from everywhere. Almost every single bolt was under torqued. The transfercase pan bolts were maybe a couple ft.lbs. I tightened all of them up and went over all over it with a quick degrease and scrub. I left fresh cardboard underneath for the night so we'll see if it hold through tomorrow. After I got that sorted I figured I would check the exhaust hanger bolts. This is where I found that it is apparently easier to weld nuts in place than use threadlocker?
    Sorry for potato camera.

I guess I get to look forward to cutting those off some day... No one in town has the valve cover gasket so I have to get those ordered in here sometime soon.
