I am thinking that if I got my hands on an original jeep logo keys by Briggs and Stratton I could change the tumblers on the ignition cylinder lock. Let me know if you have any keys you would like to sell. Here is a picture of my NOS Standard ignition switch with generic keys The ignition switch PN is 924918 (US 14)
    Short lock cylinder.

I just did this, it's very easy as there's only 5 "wafers" in the tumbler. And the neat thing is that the door locks and glove box locks all have the same "wafers" (as long as your in the 60's, the 70's are longer and much different "wafers")

I find it interesting that I have the exact part number NOS ignition switch, but mine has the chrome retaining nut as pictured above in Roy's photo, and it has the same "Jeep" logo B&S keys as Roy's. The body of the switch has a longer "neck" as opposed to your short version. My switch is packaged in an AMC box and appears to be dated 1/3/74 and is manufactured by Polak. My '64 Tux came with the same switch, keys, and retaining nut.
Are you sure your switch is an OEM part?

Since I am not the original owner I can't be sure. I sort of doubt it is the original switch.

I just got a new ignition switch cylinder with keys and a door lock cylinder with keys for my 55 chevy. They look exactly like the originals. The keys even had the correct GM writing. The company is pyautolocks.com. Maybe they would be interested in reproducing original jeep keys and lock cylinders?
