Well since I can't do any work outside the garage today I guess I will do a little work inside. I have been doing a little research and I am wondering, do I just use a gasket for my Dana 18 to Ford T-18 adapterplate? Also for some reason I can not find the gasket, I have the one for the tcase pan but I can't find the one for the input, so can I just make my own?
    Thanks guys
    Jeff

Yeh I know I should know this stuff but I am blanking out today on Jeep info.

Yeah, you need to use some sort of gasket. I used "the right stuff" gasket maker, made by permatrex, no problems yet...

I made a gasket for mine, but I've heard a lot of good reports about "The Right Stuff". Also I highly recommend using Locktite on the adapter to tranny bolts. I didn't the first time and the adapter vibrated loose after about a year of use. Real pain in the @ss.

not a big fan of silcone gaskets. get some gasket paper from flaps and make own. use a small ballpeen hammer to tap gasket out against adaptor.

I was not planing on Sulcone except to help hold the gasket on. We have the material but I had read something about needing a seal in order to keep the T-18 from being overfilled.
