Does anyone happen to know which OEM throttle body, if any, will bolt to a standard square bore intake without modification? I thought I read in one of the Summit/Jegs catalogs that there is a conversion kit that uses all GM parts with standard square bore intakes. Can't find that info annotated in my catalog now, but got me to wondering if it is something that could just be taken out of the boneyard.

GM TBI will require a square bore to GM adapter plate. But it is is a bolt on. I do not know of any OEM that used the adapter.

All the GM TBI that I've seen use a triangle shaped 3 bolt pattern with 2 injectors. I've read somewhere that the 4.3/SBC are exactly the same, and the BBC get bigger bores. Haven't confirmed the latter, but can tell you that the 4.3/SBC do in fact appear to be identical. With that said, I think it's not a matter of a TBI so much as it's just an adapter. This might do the trick:

If you happen to see a guy out mowing your lawn, waxing the truck and taking out the trash wearing a "Will work for JEEP parts" t-shirt, do not be alarmed. R)

I can make them quite easily if enough guys want them. I hate building stuff like this 1 at a time but if 2 or 3 would commit to them at once I can make them. Material is always a concern when building things like this. The more I buy the cheaper it is and the less waste I have.

Mark me down for a square bore if you get around to it. Aftermarket is making them out of 1/4" aluminum.

I think I can make them for about $25 a piece. Material is about $5-$6 per part including the shipping to me. I would check to see if I can put them in a flat rate envelope and mail them for $4.60 a piece. If I can get the material for that and they will fit in an envelope we could call it $30 including shipping.
    Does that price sound fair.
I figured that price on a 3/8" thick adapter until I make sure it will fit on a 1/4" plate, not that much difference on the material cost at that point.

Mike - dial me up one and tell me when you want the paypal funds.

I may also need a power and manual saginaw spud, and maybe one of your manual mounting plates. Let me know if you have any.

I was looking for a TBI to Rochester 2 barrel manifold adapter. I can't seem to locate one, is this something you could make ? I don't really want to throw a 4 barrel manifold on it, unless I have to. Thanks !

With the exception of Clints and Chucks I think, It would be for a stock 225 manifold to a stock 4.3 TBI unit.
