Well, now I don't know. I don't see any holes for those wire headlight guards to bolt into. Did 2A's have some kind of mounting brackets at the bottom that would use those holes near the bottom of the grill?

Oh, and thanks for the M38 photo David! That went right into my stash!

Nope. That's almost certainly and early '2A grille, they used the little bullet-style parking lights. Somewhere in mid-year '48 they switched to the stamped-style lights because they were cheaper to produce. I was thinking that those holes at the bottom of the grille looked suspiciously like the ones an M-38 had with their hinged mounts.

Nope, definately an M38, with the wrong hood, probably a 3A. The grill has the hinge hoes in the bottom for the hinges (a military thing) and I see a hole for the brushguards in the first pic. The dash has all the right holes in all the right places, and the bigger gas filler neck is a definate. I'd pay $70 bucks for it, hell if you talked him down from $400 then do it!!!

I say not worth the time unless you're known for having extra parts laying around.

If it still has the push button on the glove box they're getting $50.00 for them on E-bay.
