    So much for a simple re-sleeve...while talking to the shop I talked myself right into a complete new DS with 2" HD tubing and a longer slip joint....

    The rollcage just went a little further out.... :rofl:

    That seems pretty reasonable. I think I paid about $225 when I replaced my reardrive shaft.

    whats wrong with it? i dont see a single thing thats wrong. 160 that does not sound bad at all for a new shaft

    i knew that. i forgot to put in the the wink or some other kind of smilie to show that. note to self add one more thing to list of things to carry, a new driveshaft.

    turn? nope im one all the time i just try and keep it to a minimum when i am on here. i knew that was billys job and i did not want to impead on it.

    New shaft, sitting next to the old with both fully extended - quite a difference in slip:

    Looks pretty good. I'm thinking about just hitting it with clearcoat for a little undercarriage bling...;)
