I will get you a PIC tomorrow. It was around an inch or less down from the spring hole that was there already.

The master is angled which is another reason I went with it, for the ease of mounting. The threads were SAE. And the flex hose had several adapters with the kit if needed. The hole I drilled in the firewall was 1 1/4.

OK I got some pictures from the clutch pedal. Because it had a fork that fit over the pedal itself I used a clevis type bolt with washers on both sides and secured it with a cotter pin. This one is a bit long but it is what I had at the time. It clears everything so....

Did you have to make a pedal stop or does it stop at the floorboard when you press it in ?Is your slave cylinder anchor bracket fitted with a helm joint or washered for movement? So many questions because I want to do this conversion soon on my 70.Thanks :)

trickpatrick,I looked at my clutch pedal again and did find an existing hole.It seems kind of high up on the pedal though...would you mind measuring yours so that I can compare to the location on mine?Mine is drilled about 1 1/2" below the part of the pedal casting that becomes the hole for the pivot point ( if that makes any sense). It will be interesting to also know how it compares to eddyt installation. And what did you do for a pedal stop?Does it just bottom out on the floor or did you fabricate some kind of a stop?Lots of questions because I figure why try to re-invent a system that others have created sucessfully. This conversion will be ideal for my 70 Commando because the PO had "bubba-fabbed" a clutch release contraption that I can hardly wait to get rid of.Thanks Oz.

OZ my second hole is just above the return stop for the clutch pedal as in the pictures. I used the existing hole for the spring return which is what I think it was for. I did not put a pedal stop in for the clutch as it worked OK without it. The L-Bracket I used was around 8 inches on the long side and 3 inches on the short side. And my clutch set up was also Bubba modified when I got it, that is why I went Hydraulic.

Thanks for the info. This sure looks like the way to go versus cables , rods and levers,or chain type setups.

Looks great. Mine is an S10 master, it's slanted as well. My slave is a push, not a pull. Your Jeepster is in great shape!
