    I bought a cheap choke cable that was long enough and cut it with the proper amount of inner core sticking out. I twisted the ends with about tow or three turn around the appropriate sized phillips screwdriver shank. Think the one on the temp control arm is smaller than the one out on the box flapper.

    Most small engine repair shops sell the cable by the ft, inner,or outer, or both.
    Some have different diameters!
