Headlight Buckets

    Did the factory paint the headlight buckets or were they zinc plated? I’m re doing mine and had to sandblast them due to some rust. Trying to keep it factory or similar.

    All the civilian ones I've taken apart had zinc coated/galvanized buckets.

    That's what I did, using several coats of Eastman brand clear satin - it worked out great.
