    Hello all,

While I haven't searched too extensively, I have not been able to find the tube/hose that goes between the drivers side of the grill to the heater box on the drivers side firewall. The hose appears to be approx. 4.5" diameter, roughly 22" long. (there's a joke in there somewhere...:D)
Does anyone know where I may obtain one of these critters, or has anyone done any replacements with easy-to-find items, like from Home Despot?

Now that the heater (and the rest of the Jeep for that matter... ) is so close to being used, it'd be nice to get fresh air instead of the engine bay air.

    TIA

JC Whitney sells it -4 1/2" air duct hose. Standard dryer hose is only 4". A search should show up the part number. About $14 before shipping for 6' which is just barely not enough to do two jeeps. :D

I used the hard dryer duct. It fits inside the outlets just perfect.

It'll blind you, and it's about as butch as it gets... But it works!!!!!!

Kaiser Willys sells 4.5 inch black hose with the wire reinforcing that fits this perfectly. If you ask, they will sell you 3 feet, which is plenty. They also have other sizes for under the dash etc. Ask for their price list for parts.
