Fuel System

I’m trying to get my ‘69 with the 225 up and running. Recently purchased and the fuel system has me a little baffled. I’m guessing at some point someone put a Fuel tank from a 4cyl in it because I pulled it because it had tons of crud and the replacement I bought for a V6 was different. The old tank had one line coming out the bottom..the new tank sender has two lines coming out the top. I noticed underneath the Jeep that one of the hard lines leading to the tank was capped off. I’m assuming this line is a return line and should go to the small nipple on the sender? Just all kinds of confused lol. I have all new parts for a V6 (tank, sender, fuel pump, fuel filter) and need a simple diagram of where all the lines/hoses go. The return line is the problem I guess...the 4cyl didn’t have it??
