Have a repro sender unit in the Jeep with a plastic float in it. It worked nice for about 4 hours, then the plastic leaked, got full of gas, and now it's history. Anyone have a PN for a brass float that will work with the 2A stuff?
    Thanks

You can get one at your local Ford dealer-I can't remember the part # but I'll check tomorrow. BTW if you use the brass float you'll have to make some adjustments (bend) the float arm cause the brass float floats a little lower than the plastic one.

Go to your local hardware store and buy a couple of real corks for about .35 cents each. That's what my flatty had in it when I bought it and the fuel gauge was one of the few things that still worked when I bought the Jeep.
