Flatfender floor pan panels?

    Was the M38 the only flatfender to have the large removable floor panels around the transmission hump and firewall?

    I think so. Don't remember them in any of my 2As but don't know about the War 2 jeeps

    IIRC the MBs were similar to the 2A in that regard.

    M38's were the only flatties to have the large panel. The M38A1 was based off that, then the CJ5.

    Thanks for your replies.

    The reason I was asking is because my buddy has a M38 with a Chevy 283. Those removable floor panels and flip out dash sure gave a lot of room in which to work... :D ... regardless of engine / drivetrain set-up.

    Wish I had one of those removable center floor sections in my 3b than I wouldn't have had to cut chainsawguy it out to fit this :
