    radio jeeps have no tailgate. on the recoiless rifle (m38a1c) and atomic ones (m38a1d) do.

    From what I found out from the "GEE", I think it is a 52-53 model year A1 since it has the thumbscrew battery cover, hinged grille, wide bumper and a few other things as well. I can't wait to tear into this thing!!! My kids already got all the mechanical parts out. I'm hoping to have it down to the frame sometime next week!
