    Hello,
Per the 70s Jeep manual, the F134 takes 4 quarts of oil. I put 4 in mine and it's right at "full" on the dipstick. This engine has an inverted spin on filter which drains back when the engine is not running. Do I need to add additional oil to account for that? Presumably a half quart or so is tied up in the filter while it's running.
    Thanks,
    Ken

Yes. After you run it for a bit, turn it off let it cool down and then check your oil level.
