Exhaust Pipe

    I put a rear fuel tank in a 59 CJ-5 and am looking for a tailpipe section that will go down the side and miss the the fuel tank.Got a call into NAPA for a tailpipe for a 64-75 DJ-5 waiting to hear back and looking for ideas instead of custom..Thanks Jim

    Hmmm, for what it’s worth, I just had a local shop put a new muffler on and install pipe with custom routing for about $200.

    Thanks..took a tail piece off a parts wagon so Ill make it work.Was planning on taking it to a shop in the spring when the salt is gone off the roads,if this works I just made $200 to buy more parts,LOL.Thanks again,Jim

    Jim...glad you have your solution...for others or future reference on exhaust check out Waldrons...specify rear tank...they may have what is needed.
