You would be fine with either one.

Base gasket toast with the air mixture thing. A6357 part number. Ordered it and now waiting. We'll I could just shoot myself in the foot. My air filter I got from the vw shop for the jeep did absolutely nothing. The intake and carb were caked in dirt. It would have been better to run it with no air cleaner. Say good by rings. So mad at myself. I'll get over it in a few weeks with lots of beers. Going to run it anyways for now.
Vacuum test, oil change and test drive are up next.
Might pull motor to change the rear main seal, pan gasket, T case seals, and check out the head/rings. Just enough to get me by this winter.
Can you believe my little jeep made it up boulder dash and down highway 19, 20 and 21 in Johnson Valley CA? Super challenge but fun. Lots of rock damage. Smashed my cross member so much it ripped the motor mounts apart backwards.
Plan is to belly pan it and do the W.E.ROCK sock class competition in Congress AZ next year. Also off road this winter.
I want to thank everyone for you input and help. I'll keep you posted and never stop working on the willys.
I did smash up the body with rocks but that's the only way I could get the bond out. The tub was a POS when I picked it up. Looked like they used the jeep as a snow plow, frame/running gear came from my dad's friend.
Also wanted to thank my dad for always helping me since the beginning.

Borrowed the engine hoist, lifted the body off, and pulled the engine assembly. Separated the trans and T-case , accidently pulled the T90 main shaft out. Looks like I get to rebuild the T90.
Head studs rusted super bad. Clutch disk and pressure plate cracked.
Found a broken ring in #2 and bad head gasket and bad rod bearing in #4. Waiting on the spring compressor from dad and I have to borrow a socket to remove the front pulley.
Going to drop the crank at the machine shop after work Wednesday then stop at the Prescott Valley J-yard for CJ5 78 front hubs and C10 backing plates to convert to disk brakes.
Found a Scout II with a Dana 18 T-case. Will that fit behind my T90? Installing the rancho 2" lift springs and 3/16" belly pan/ cross member. Buddy has a plasma table to cut out. Possible hanger pedals.

$400 machining and $550 for parts. 60 over new pistons and rings, 20 under crank grind w/ all bearings, valve job, head and flywheel resurface, gasket kit and new oil pump.
    Recommendations on assembly lube?
Also has anyone tried the $90 clutch kit rockauto/amazon or should I source the $160 kit?
