Can anyone send a picture of the portion of the seat bracket that bolts to an S bracket attached to the body. I have a set of these brackets that I am trying to fit in my 2A. I found one picture on the web but can't tell how long the bracket is. Is it possible that this is a Bubba build?

Posting a link is beyond my abilities, but if you go to www.CJ3B. com, select CJ3B Specs and Tech Tips, Click on CJ3B Seats, it's the 3rd photo. Thanks for the response, hope somebody has an answer. It appears the seat brackets I have would work with this.

Link doesn't work. CJ3B.com redirects to cj5.com with nothing about the CJ3B.

Just cut and paste the link from the header at the top of the page into your message.

This possible addition confirms my suspicions. I am attempting to use these CJ 5 seat mounts in a CJ2A but the sides are higher than a CJ 5. I thought this might be a way to accomplish this. May have to attempt to lower the stock 2A brackets.

Hey..here's an add on to that question, I have a '67 CJ5 that has no passenger seat. Is the mounting frame (that the seat bolts to) the same as the older jeeps? I found a seat frame from a '55 and wondered if it will fit the '67?

'55 and '67 seat frames are different and use different hinge system. '55 has two small individual hinges bolted to the tool box. '67 uses a hooped bar (think upside down U) that bolts to the toolbox and the seat hinges off that bar. The later ones are easier to find in useable or rebuildable condition.

I hate to bring up an old thread, but...

Does anyone have a reference picture of the correct seat brackets for a 56?
