What are the chances of getting a copy of the drawing or a rough sketch with correct dimensions so those of us who like to try and fab stuff like this could give it a shot? I have a 20 ton press, a drill press, and access to cutting torches. What more could ya need?

While you are at it, don't forget the second bracket too. The first one (that this thread has been about) mounts the M/C to the frame, and the second is the bracket between the M/C-to-frame bracket and the pedal shaft.

It is not the same as the single master cylinder pedal-to-master cylinder bracket, although you could probably make one at home with a small piece of angle iron and a hacksaw.

Y'all know that you have to cut out the single master cylinder mount from the frame. The first time I did this I debated whether I really wanted to make this modification, since cutting off the old bracket is rather permanent.

Well, it is easy to do with a sawzall, and not that big of a deal, but, once done, you are committed to the dual master cylinder installation.

    You can't go back.....

However, I'd do it again in a heartbeart if I had a pre '68 jeep frame to deal with.

Drilling the holes needed to complete the mount in a jeep that still has the body attached would be interesting... you'd need some sort of 90 degree offset drill to drill through the top of the frame.

I've never attempted this with the body tub still on the frame and an engine in place.

While you have your jeep down for the modification, it would be a good time to eliminate 'pedal wobble' with a pedal-to-frame bracket from an M38A1 or M38. They are not available from the civilian part vendors, but they are available from any military jeep vendor, and have replaceable bushings in case you own your jeep long enough to get pedal wobble again.

It'll require one extra hole in the frame, but that one would be a piece of cake to drill in comparison to the M/C bracket (with the body on the frame).

I can give you a copy of the drawing if you can read a dxf or acad dwg file, I can email it to you if you cannot in a bmp format for microsoft paint.

Someone please post a picture of the single reservoir setup, I have never seen one and paid any attention to it. I will talk to him about the small tab bracket on the side that supports the shaft, I did not realize it was different.

I just removed a bracket from my parts frame with all parts and pedals still attached and it clearly shows the second bracket in question. I also snapped a picture but it won't load. I posted an ad for sale and it must be affecting my limit to upload. I will PM Mcruff to post them.
