Driveshaft U Joint

    Are the u joints in the front and the read driveshaft the same P/N? I have a D18 and a Dana 25 and a Dana 44. Thanks!

    No, the front shaft has smaller U Joints, the snap rings are on the inside of the yoke. At least on my Jeep with 66 CJ 5 axels they are, and on my 64 axels they are too. I don't know the part numbers. Good Luck.

    V6 CJ's use smaller front ujoints. 4 cyl versions are the same for both.

    I though so, my 64, 4 cyl. TC was single stick , it had the small too.

    I think it was a clearance issue with the V6 that called for the smaller u-joints. Twin stick or single didn't matter.

    I forget that I have newer axels in my 64, and they are not the original. Apologize for the confusion. Good Luck.
