I'm trying to find drive shaft universal joints for my 1957. The parts book I have is issued in 1959 and the only part number for the universal joints are 906929 which crossed referenced over to Dana Spicer 5-153X that also a 1310 ujoint?

They have some on eBay. They were listed as 1310 greasable U joint. Universal Joint 5-153 X. The seller was carolinatruckgirl1973. (643). They are made in the USA also !!!

Spicer 153x are the correct ones. Most Jeeps used this joint through 1986 and beyond. On exception is the front propellor shaft on V-6 powered Jeeps.
We used to keep a case of them in stock and sold the heck out of them.

Your local auto store should have these in stock. The Spicer are very good quality.
