    Cool. I was just looking at the nuts on my door pins- still covered with nice shiny Sierra Pearl paint.. I'll have to decide next spring what to do about a soft top/ doors. I got a Bestop half cab with it, but the kids won't be covered in the back seat.

    4WDH used to make a small, plastic-coated box wrench to remove the door pin nuts without damaging the paint.
    Works pretty well.

    So do the stock bushings just wear out?

    i know its kinda late ,but i just read this. i bought some from cseoffroad on ebay for 10.94 plus 1.75 shipping for 4 and they are brass/bronze material
