I think that my flatfender is a 4x4 DJ.
Anyone know any info on how many were converted to 4x4 I thought they were all 2wd.My truck is titled as a 57 has the large speedo like a CJ5 and had the tiny little air cleaner on top of the carb that I later switched to an oil bath out of my M38.Serial # 5633711504.Any help would be great.

I don't think that any were converted to 4WD by the factory - they had the CJ for that. I imagine it would be fairly easy to combine parts of a CJ and DJ though.

    Yep,
That ebay auction is what made me think of it.
My body is much more like a cj3a than that though.
I never could figure out why it was titled as a 57' guess that explains it.
Chuck where did you check the vin?
