Hey, I have a 47' Willys CJ2A with Dana 25 up front. I am doing the disk brake conversion on this web site. I bought the caliper mounts from Complete Offroad (76-79 F150). They came in and the caliper mounts dont match up with the hubs or new rotors. Did I do something wrong? Thanks

yup, i pulled my last set from a suburban and they match up as well... i haven't bothered to look at the fords, but from your experience i'm assuming they won't work.

...and you NEED the 1-1/8" rotors. The 7/8" ones won't line up.

Mike was offerign a discount to ECJ5 members if you ask for it, although I paid $50 bucks for the PAIR when I did mine! I guess the popularity is driving the prices up.

A sign of the times I guess, that the boneyards around here are getting to the point where unless you want a complete engine, front clip or other high-dollar item, they don't want to deal with you. Also, the number of yards in this area that have anything more than 10 years old is really just about non-existant.

Maybe it's a regional thing. For $90 I could get the whole front dana 44;)

The one that you want is the one I linked to. Works for Dana 25/27 source is a Chevy Dana 44. If what they sent you looks different, then I would give them a call and find out what they sold you.

chuck's link are the mounts you need. they might have the dust sheild and inner circle cut out of them when they get to you, but those are the brackets you need. 20 bucks for the pair is the going rate at the pull a part around here as well... if going rate is 50 for the set i'll be pulling a couple next week...

It is. Around here that same 44 starts at $200 and goes up from there. Even things like caliper brackets that used to be everywhere are getting harder to come by. Count yourself lucky to be in an area where that stuff is affordable still. By the way, some Ford spindles are 6 bolt. Depends on year and application. They still won't work though because of the offset unless you use all the Ford parts. Nickmil.

Florida, I am in high school and teaching mechanics on my 2a myself. I have always had a thing for old jeeps. If you have the brackets and could get them for me I would appreciate it. I dont know how to pay you though. Thanks

I'll be home Wed, in LA now, and I'll see if I can pull them out. Best I remember they're kind of heavy so shipping might kill you.. I'll let you know by Wed night/Thurs morning what I find out. What's your ZIP so I can check shipping when I get home?

You know that's one method don't think of often.. Seems to me that it cost almost $16 to ship an air cleaner Priority Mail not to long ago. Anyway I'll check tomorrow..

I'm sure that they're the 6 hole brackets, just like the picture shown above.

OK, here's a couple pics of the brackets(hope this works).
Looks like shipping weight is ~22lbs. So USPS rates are $32.45 Priority or $21.32 Parcel Post from 85222 to 34285. Do you still want them or would you rather check out your local junkyards?
