Hi guys, have a new to me 71 dauntless cj5. I'm wanting to add an oil pressure gauge just for piece of mind, preferably a mechanical one for ease of install. What gauge do I need and where on the block do I pull a plug and install it? Unfortunately mine doesn't have one from the factory... Thanks for the help!

Same place as where your oil light sender is screwed into. Will need to plumb a TEE pipe in if you are needing both. You can use standard gauge and won't need anything over 60 PSI. Welcome from Ga.

FYI it is very common for a Buick v6 to have very little oil pressure at hot idle. Don't let it scare you when you install a guage.

Please do yourself a favor and add the tee so that you retain the oil pressure light too.
