    Yes. As was mentioned above the back side of the T-86 retainer is identical to the T-90 retainer. Measure the two and they should have the same outside diameter. Nickmil

    I got to inspecting the retainer and it has T-89 stamped into it. That ticks me off. Thanks for your help.

    I need a T-86 rear bearing retainer ASAP! If anyone has one or knows where I can get one please help me out. This is the last part I need to get my Jeep back together and I cant find one. Any help would be great.

    As was said in an earlier post. R&P has them at 503-557-8911. Herm Tilford (hermtheoverdriveguy), Krage, and other places stock them........

    Ok thanks Ill try them. I had tried these guys out of Salt Lake but they are the ones that sent me the T-150 retainer.

    If it's stamped T-89 then it most likely is a T-89 Retainer. The T-89 IIRC was a 3 speed used in Jeep pu's and Wagoneers for a few years. I compared your pic to a T-150 retainer and it isn't a T-150 retainer. I was wrong in that. The T-150 retainer uses a snap ring around the outside where the cast in step is on the T-86 retainer. By the way, my T-86 Retainer actually has stamped in it T-90, but I have seen them with T-86 on them too. Nickmil
