    IMG_2493.JPG IMG_2494.JPG IMG_2492.JPG I have:
    A Dana 27 front diff with disk brakes from a 1970-71 CJ5
A Dana 44 rear diff offset pumpkin with one piece axles, 1968?
A Dana 44 rear diff centered pumpkin from a 1971 CJ5 with one piece axles
All three have 4.88 gear ratios
All three have sat on a trailer for the past 5 years outside.
Can you give me an idea what I should ask for them?
    Located in Decatur, I'll.

    Thanks

I don't know but I wish I had some place to store them! I would fix up the '71s with all the best goodies, then swap them out.

71 should be an offset rear end. Any have lockers?

The centered 44 was used 72-75 & wouldn't have 4.88's unless swapped in. They're fairly common.
The offset 44 with one piece axles was used from mid 70 through 71 and are somewhat scarce, but are really only useful for an early CJ with the model 18 transfer case.
Not a lot of demand for a 27 front end, you might have better luck selling the disc setup by itself.

1 piece tie-rod there as well - so maybe it has a two hole knuckle that might be wanted, or even the single tie-rod with the drag link attachment hole.

Both rears are offset based on the Pic - if they are truly one piece with 4.88s they are about $300 apiece here, and hard to find. Better condition could bring a better price.

As said on the D27 - you would be better to sell them from the knuckles out with the disc setup - probably around $150 depending on the shape. Your not going to get much for the rest of the D27 and selling just the discs opens shipping options.

You sure the top axle is offset? The finned drums were not used until 1974, and the offset - if present - is way smaller than the offset of the axle in the 3rd picture. I would call that a centered 44 from a '74 or '75, and as such it's likely 3.73 or maybe 4.27, not 4.88 unless converted. Having 3 axles makes it seem more likely that the top one is the oddball.

A '68 Jeep would have tapered axles, not flanged.

Yeah Tims got a good eye for intermediate details.
And it also could be the pic angle makes the centered axle look distorted.

Please double check the ratio on the centered axle.
I may be interested if its 3.73.

The offset D44 is a graet little axle too but I already have a couple of those.
