use an impact gun to remove the bolt holding the yoke on, then pull the yoke off. you may need a puller to get the yoke off. i've had one come off by hand, and one requiring a puller. once the yoke is off, i remove the old seal with a slide hammer. the new seal gets put in and an oversized socket works well to drive the seal in with. then the yoke goes back on. use a monkey wrench to hold the yoke while torqing down the nut. not a tough job to do. clean the area real well before doing any work to avoid any crap getting in there during disassembly. maybe drain a bit of fluid too so that the level is below the pinion.

The big thing is it supposed to be torqued back on at 220 lbs.
Here is a good info page on it.

If its leaking it may have a reason other than just wear so you should make sure the pinion shaft dosent wiggle. And that the yoke doesnt have a big grove worn in it.

When you put it back together put a little rtv on the spline so it doesnt leak through. And use a new pinion nut.

Instead of draining a little fluid out, drain it all and replace. Often the diff oil has been in there so long it gets gritty and that can cause the seal to start leaking. Besides, it's pretty tough to drain a little oil out unless you siphon it out the fill hole.

I always have just used a flat-head screw driver and a large hammer to punch the seal out. you can usually tap it around the edges and bend them in just slightly that the seal will fall out. that is if you don't have a slide hammer, on the other hand since I've purchased my slide hammer I've never looked back. haha

good advice by all,in addition i put a little grease on seal lip and lightly coat outside surface were it contacts the diff. with permatex.
