    X2 - the generic type used in many truck bodies. I put one in the roof of my YJ.

    Looks like they built it using the battery box lid to me.

    So where is the battery box lid? Or is this a new body from overseas without the battery box lid? I think I read somewhere that the new bodies made over seas (MD Juan?) don't have the old military hold over battery lid.

    The later years didn't have the lid....somewhere around '65 or so they did away with that.

    I think the battery lid disappeared early in the 1964 model year.
