I think the jeep is suppose to tow the trailer!!

A buddy from work hooked me up!! About 2 months ago the guy living next door had this trailer in his back yard for YEARS with his cj3b. He wont let the 3b go but, wanted to get rid of the trailer! He asked (my buddy) if he or any one wanted it (so he could clean up his back yard)! I was asked if i wanted it and before he got the rest of the words out i said YES!!! Its a 1944 willys. A tail gate was put in back and some angle iron welded around the inside top (for what i dont know)! I'll prob leave the tail gate in place (but clean it up more) but i think the angle iron gots to go! it has rust in the bottom front side (need to be fixed) but the floor is intact and solid! I missed a great deal on two jeeps this week  BUT @ least I have this to make up for it!! :)

do you have any pics of the tongue set up? It looks like a coupler and small extension were attached below the lunnette. Can't really tell because of the safety chains wrapped around it.

Good, at least you can restore the lunnette back to her glory days!
Those are difficult to get hold of and $$ if you find one.
I think MD Juan is now making replicates of the WW2 lunnettes. Check G503 forum for that though....

Good luck on the restoration or mod out on that thing!
