Color of paint for front bumper and rear cross member

    Anyone know the correct color of black to use for rear cross member and front bumper on a 56 CJ5 . I am thinking it should be semi gloss black. Any recommendations on a brand of paint ?

    I am redoing one, and wanted it fairly correct. :?

    I'm not sure of the absolutely "correct" paint to use, but I use black spray paint intended for use specifically on BBQ grills that works well. I've used a couple of different brands, Krylon comes to mind. It's a flat finish.

    I've also heard there's a "chassis black" paint that's good too but I've never used it.
