Been wanting another Jeep so I found this one. The slave cylinder quick connect was leaking so I fixed it in the guys yard and drove it home. about the best birthday gift a guy could buy. Needs a bath but just about everything is fine with it.

If it has square headlights, it's not a JEEP. :D

They're not square, they're rectangle. I like it. At least it's not a Fiat!

I went through the envelope the p.o. gave me and it had a carfax report in it. Looks like the Jeep made its way from Garland, TX to Louisiana then to MS.

Even with the wrong headlights, they sure are fun to drive.

I do have my work cut out for me, but I made it to the court house and got an antique tag for it:). When I first looked at the jeep the po told me it had a/c but since it created "drag" on the engine he had the dash unit taken out. I figured the only time it'd create drag would be when the compressor was on but I didn't want to argue with the guy. The cleanest and most stock YJ I've seen around here. It still has the splash guard under the engine. Got the hard doors on and adjusted; fixed the window regulator arm, clock and fuel gauge work now. No death wobble. Looks like I have 4.11's in the rear. The sad thing is that I've gotten more done on this thing than on my CJ5 in the past 2 years.
