    I just looked at your engine swap pics- CLEAN!!!!!

    I have a couple questions for you:
    Where did you get those headers?
    Is that bellhousing the one that came with the 465?


    I wish my engine looked that nice!!! :beer:

    Oh you will need a 168 tooth internal balanced flywheel to bolt to the 4.3.

    Thanks for the info Coby! I already have my SM420 bolted to my 4.3 so I'm good as far as the bellhousing and flywheel are concerned.

    I thought I'd ask in this forum because I thought you might have made those headers on your own. I guess I should've looked in AA's catalog. :oops:

    Scott, early SM465's came with a cast iron bellhousing. I think the aluminum was standard in the early 80's

    I hope I didn't stir the pot too much by asking about the bellhousing...

    I have a bellhousing that was originally bolted to a SM465 in 1985-1991 model year trucks. It has a hydraulic clutch linkage. I was curious because I'd like to use the OEM clutch master and slave cylinders. While bolting up the slave cylinder is as straightforward as it gets, the master cylinder is going to require some minor trickery to get it to work with my pedals. I don't think it will be a big deal but I thought I'd ask since it would be cool to see someone else's handywork (especially since your work looks damn good!) before trying to do it on my own.
