How do you know when a clutch is worn out? And how long do they usually last? And lastly, what clutches have you guys installed? I've read here that Centerforce clutches are giving some guys problems. My oil pan also leaks, amongst many other things and I noticed it drips into my flywheel, well past the inspection plate, does that dripping oil make it to the clutch? Or is that ridiculously unfeasable?
Since Billy's helping me replace the tranny and Tcase we're going to at least replace the throwout bearing.

Here's a test for your clutch. It's not "kind" to your rig, but will tell you the state of your clutch.

Tach the engine up to 2000 rpm.
    Put rig in 3rd gear.
slide foot off clutch (dump it)
If the engine stalls IMMEDIATELY the clutch is fine. If there is ANY delay in the engine stalling, then the clutch is slipping to a lesser or greater extent, and will need replaced.

I've used this test accurately when buying used cars (out of view of the owner) ;) :D
