This helped too. drilled another hole to lower the front bow and used the front hole for the rear bow. tied a couple ropes on each end of the rear bow to hook ratchet strap to, other on bumper. pulled top down enough to attach snaps

I have just bought a rag top for my cj 6 from Morris 4WD. I have one problem so far, I need the door channels to fasten the top at the top of the door. Talked to Morris and was told they could not help me.
Talked directly to Bestop, and even though the part # for the door channels were in the instructions, I was told these parts were no longer available and was instructed to try to find used parts. Not sure exactly what these look like. Anyone got a pic of your softop door channels or know where I might find a pair.
I suppose I could make some out of windshield channel, but would just be simpler if I could find the right parts. Any help much appreciated

It's an old thread, but I wanted to post info for future searches. You're correct in that the part number referenced in the installation instructions no longer exists. I was informed by the customer service manager that the instructions have not been updated in 15+ years. The door channel parts are, in fact, still available, but under a different part number (I just received a set).

The new/current Bestop part number is 306.70P (SERVICE KIT, DR CHANNEL CJ5 55-75).
