Trying to find an outdoor car cover for my father's M38. It may have to spend some time outside this summer. I searched the internet a bit but couldn't find anything. I am sure I will have to go with a generic cover or a later model CJ cover but I want something that will fit.

Has anyone had any luck finding one that fits well?

    Any information is appreciated.

    Thanks,
    Tim

I have been looking for a cover for my CJ2A, I recently got a RainCover for my CJ5. this protects the interior but dosn't protect the exterior.

I am looking for the same thing. Beech wood canvas works offer one but it is pricey.

I just asked a fellow here in Denver at a seat cover shop to price one out for me. I was wanting one like a cab cover. Does anyone know if a Samari cover will fit our flatys or are they too small?

If you just want to cover the cab try this, they have a listing for a CJ5 but they could tell you if it will work for a CJ2A

I guess it will have to be a generic cover based on the dimensions. Thanks

I use a CJ7 cover for my Jeep
a little big as it goes all the way down to the wheels
when I have the full soft top on it fits pretty good.

Surplus City has covers for flatties and for round fender jeeps. I got one for my M38 and its designed to fit with full top up. It fit right and goes over the rear spare and spare gas can.

    Tom,

Do you know if it will fit around the antenna bracket as well?

Now to see if I can sell my 2hn batteries so I can buy it.

I got a cover for my M38 from Empire Covers. They give ratings for all their covers for how well it protects the car in four different categories, including sun. And there are always coupon codes floating around for that site.

Not sure if you want to go to the trouble of covering the whole car every time you park though. I think the sunshade would be a lot easier.

I got one from beachwood, the version with the top and windsheild down. It is very heavy material and keeps the weather out very well.

I got this cover for my jeep. It is made by stitch master with very nice breathable material. It is a medium and fits really well with the windshield up.
