I don't think there is much 2A left of that if that, is in fact, what it started out life as. Also notice the fuel tank is in the rear. I think someone is pretty good at sheet metal work / body work and just made most of that body in the shop.

 

I don't think I'd want anything to do with it, personally. JMHO.

 

Me either. Originally I thought it might have been some uber rare flatty. After my 2nd trip I realized it was someone's cheap *** resto. For $1,500 though...

 

For $1500 I would buy a repro 3B grill swap in and run it. It looks pretty dang solid.

 

You may not be too far off track there. The problem I would have is getting clearance through my finance manager (the wife) since I already have an original 3B in need of a resto as well as a TJ, and a CJ5

I agree, put a 3b grill and some round headlights back on that thing and it wouldn't look too bad.

 

What engine is that? 1600 Pinto?

I was thinking of the L-head. The carb placement was corn-fusing me.
