I am in the process of rebuilding the 225, and when looking through the specs in my book I noticed that the California variations, which mine is, had 7.4:1 compression ratio. I really don't want it to have this low compression when I am done rebuilding but I can't find anywhere that tells me what was different about them to give them lower compression. Heads, pistons, connecting rods? If anyone has any information for these California engines it would be appreciated!
