Body Parts Swapping?

So I need a better DS fender for my '66 CJ5. Is there a list anywhere of what body parts a changeable between years/models? Like would a '62 Cj fender work? a '79?

 

The front fenders physically interchage for CJ5/6 from '55 to '71, and with the M38A-1, and Postal DJs.
There was a sidemarker light added around 1970 (and Postals), so they are not identical, but still interchange.
There are some subtle differences in some military versions, and some of the inner fenderwells may have subtle differences.
From 1972-up, the fenders got 4" longer, but owners have been known to shorten them.
