    You could easily do something like the Pilot Ray setup but use a cable drive instead. Like the fancy Hot Rod Windshield wiper system use.

    I re-bulbed some cheapie HF Harbor Freight stainless units and formed grills for them to put on my 3B. I was a little concerned with debris coming off the tires but in 10 years, it hasn't been a problem. I too wanted low mounting for use in snow and in no way wanted anything more obstructing air flow to the radiator. I'm guessing I didn't end up with more than $25 in them.

    THis is exactly what I am planning to do. Use the hoop and lights that look like they match. Swap in a way cool LED bulb.
