   Are there any differences in a 79-86 CJ frames? Can I swap my 79CJ7 for any year within 76-86? What years can I swap my 79 CJ5?

   I think a few differences might be:
   1. front shock mounts
   2. emergency brake brackets at rear axle
   3. transfer case bolt hole locations
   4. gas tank mount holes
   
   While your at it, I would reweld the frame at the seams.
