I used this kit on mine. Pretty straight forward, I have much better braking, but need to replace the proportioning valve for disk/drum setup, looking at the bronco style. Just haven't done it because I haven't felt like going through the bleeding process again.

TommyMac, couple questions if you don't mind. Do you have the factory wheels? I'm wanting to verify clearing them with out issue. How was the 1/4" spacer, could you send me a pic? They don't look like GM style calipers so any idea what car they are from so I can research quality of brakes on that vehicle?

IMG_2545.JPG IMG_2546.JPG IMG_2547.JPG Yes I have stock 15" rims. The rotors are for 78-81 CJ5's and the calipers and pads are for 91-94 Plymouth acclaim. These fit inside the wheel perfectly with the spacer. I haven't had an issue with the braking which is much better than the original drum brakes. I will install a new proportioning valve in the near future to get even better disk/drum braking. Focker did an awesome disk brake tutorial, I chose to go with Partsdude because I was limited on time to source everything out. I am very happy with the results. let me know if you have any more questions.

I see your are later stock wheels. Mine are the older rivited, smooth, Kelsey-Hayes. I talked to him today and he says he doesn't definately know as he tested for the later 67ish and up wheels.

You have a nice Jeep. I wonder how much difference the inside diameter of the rim is between the two different styles. If you need measurements, let me know. I can measure off of my spare and send a picture as well.

I suspect that's not a Jeep factory wheel. Instead it looks like a pickup truck wheel with the center cut out. This is a factory wheel of similar style -

Note the rolled-over edge of the center hole, strengthening the web between the lug holes and the center hole. Different number of hubcap bumps. The little round plateau between the lug nuts looks wrong to me.

thanks timgr, sitting here for the last hour trying to find a rim decoder to determine if these are in fact OEM for my 70. Need to be working, not searching.

This is the backside of one of those wheels, showing a little more detail.

They all have a gray e-coat finish, and you can see the rolled over edge of the center hole.
