    Which of these is the newer and older crank? I'm working on converting my 73 cj5 to an SM465

    Mine looks similar to the one on the right

    The crank on the left was only used a couple years, maybe '70-'72?

    The 360 of course did not come stock in the 73 cj5. Really just trying to date the engine
    Has block #3195528

    On the heads the date is cast. well at least on my 304 and 360
    Also the left side valve cover (if original) has a tag that tells you about the engine.
